Who We Are

Building courses that actually teach you about mountain ecosystems

We started in 2023 because most online environmental education felt disconnected from reality. Our courses focus on practical understanding of mountain ecology through digital learning that works.

Mountain ecosystem research and field documentation

We're a small team that got tired of generic environmental courses

Most online ecology programs either oversimplify complex systems or drown you in academic papers. We wanted something in between—courses that respect your intelligence but don't require a PhD to understand.

Our platform focuses specifically on mountain ecology because these ecosystems are changing fast and most people don't understand how they work. We use modern farming principles, sustainable agriculture practices, and precision farming concepts to help explain ecological relationships.

The courses include practical examples from smart farming implementations and agri technology applications that demonstrate real ecological principles. We're not trying to turn everyone into researchers—just helping people grasp how mountain environments actually function.

Started with field documentation

Before writing courses, we spent months documenting actual mountain ecosystems. Our content is built from real observations of digital farming applications in mountain regions and how green farming principles apply to elevation changes.

Focus on practical understanding

Each lesson connects theory to actual applications. You'll see how eco agriculture concepts apply to mountain environments and how modern farming technology helps us understand ecological patterns better.

2023

Launched first courses

Started with three courses covering basic mountain ecology, climate patterns, and vegetation zones. Built them based on what we wished existed when we were learning this stuff.

Now

Expanding content library

Adding courses on farm innovation techniques that apply to mountain agriculture, agtech solutions for elevation challenges, and how precision farming data reveals ecological relationships.

Course developer and mountain ecology specialist

Silje Vestergren

Course Development

Builds most of our course material. Has a background in environmental science and got frustrated with how disconnected academic content felt from practical application.

Platform coordinator and content reviewer

Eira Blackwood

Platform Coordination

Keeps everything organized and reviews content for clarity. Makes sure courses actually teach what they're supposed to teach without unnecessary complexity.

Clear explanations

No jargon unless necessary. When technical terms matter, we explain them properly.

Real examples

Every concept connects to actual ecosystems and sustainable agriculture practices.

Honest about complexity

Mountain ecology is complicated. We don't pretend otherwise but make it approachable.

What you get from our courses

Understanding of how mountain ecosystems actually work, from vegetation patterns to climate effects. We integrate concepts from farm innovation and digital farming to show how technology helps us understand these environments.

Courses include examples from agtech solutions being used in mountain agriculture research, showing practical applications of ecological principles. Everything is structured for self-paced learning with clear progression.

Field research and data collection methods

Our courses use real field data and modern farming insights to explain ecosystem dynamics

Mountain vegetation analysis and documentation

Learn how precision farming techniques help researchers understand vegetation patterns

Course development workspace and materials

Built by people who actually care

We update content when we learn something new. If a course isn't working well, we rebuild it. This isn't a side project—it's what we focus on.

The technical side

Green farming principles

Our courses incorporate sustainable agriculture concepts to show how human activity affects mountain ecosystems

Smart farming technology

Examples from modern farming tech show how data collection reveals patterns in mountain environments

Precision approaches

Precision farming methods help explain how small changes in elevation create different ecological zones
